The Mi-Ki is highly intelligent, with a very stable temperament. They are great family dogs and get along well with children and other pets. There is no one happier then a Mi-Ki being cuddled, unless it is the person doing the cuddling.
Because of the high intelligence these sweet little guys and gals do excellent in obedience training. Their sweet disposition and stable temperament make them excel in therapy work.
The Mi-Ki, unlike so many other little ones do not have fur, they have rooted hair. This makes them hypo allergenic and non-shedding. With just a quick comb through your grooming is done. Toy breeds do require a little more dental attention so I use a tooth pad to clean teeth maybe three times a week, along with veterinarian suggested deep cleanings.
