Job Summary:
The person hired for the position of Process/Product Engineer will support the TSSD Highway Signing business in the Brownwood, TX manufacturing facility.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
: Provide process support for Highway Signing product lines from raw material through converting, including off:shifts and weekends as needed
: Leads Technical Teams between Brownwood and RM suppliers
: Leads Lean Six Sigma Teams to improve yields, reduce costs, improve productivity and efficiency
: Support New Product Introduction (NPI) for the assigned businesses
: Communicate at all levels of the organization to drive positive change and improvement
Basic Qualifications:
: Bachelors degree or higher in engineering from an accredited university
Preferred Qualifications:
: Two years of manufacturing experience
: Masters degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience
: Experience in microreplication coating technologies
: Experience in coating and 3D patterning methods (microreplication, lithography, plating, vapor deposition, micromolding, etc.)
: Experience leading a cross functional teams
: Experience with Lean Six Sigma tools
: Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Minitab
: Good communication, both verbal and written, influencing skills, and project management skills
Location: Brownwood, Texas
Travel: May include up to 10 travel
Relocation: Is authorized
